“TIPS” TO HUNT FOR SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN NEW SOUTH WALES – AUSTRALIA
“How to apply for a scholarship to study abroad?” – This is probably a common question for most international students to find a solution for reducing the economic burden, or simply a challenge that they set for themselves. So, how to apply for a scholarship to study abroad? Let’s explore with SET Education through this article!
Scholarships to study in Australia: high value and diversity
Scholarships to study in Australia are worth from a few thousand to several tens of thousands of Australian Dollars (this value is equivalent to 1 course, 1 semester or even 1 year of tuition fee).
Scholarships in Australia are diverse in Majors: from Engineer, Hospitality Management, Cookery & Culinary Arts, Business Management/Accounting and Healthcare to Information Technology.
In addition, this diversity is also reflected in the scholarship evaluation criteria. Besides good learning capacity and excellent English proficiency, students must also have rich life experience. This is shown through your application.
Through your application, Schools often evaluate:
High School’s academic achievement: Reflecting your acquisition and research skills as well as learning capacity in the future.
Extracurricular activities that you have joined together with the Essay sent by yourself: Reflecting yourself and your personal skills such as teamwork, presentation, leadership ability, inclusive thinking, creative thinking…
Looking for scholarships to study abroad: Need to prepare quality application soon
Most “quality” scholarships are usually limited in a certain number. In order to prepare well for the scholarship application, besides good learning capacity and IELTS Score are two decisive factors, the record of extracurricular activities is also equally important.
In addition to the “need” factor as listed above, the coherent and clear presentation of the extracurricular activities in which you participate in will be considered as the “sufficient” factor.
