WHAT COURSES ARE AVAILABLE AT UTS COLLEGE?

ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES

You can choose English courses to improve the necessary academic English skills to prepare for University programs.

+ AEL1 – AEL3 prepares you for UTS Foundation Studies and UTS College Extended Diploma programs (4 semesters)

+ AEL4 prepares you for UTS College Standard (3 semesters) or Accelerated (2 semesters) Diploma programs and UTS College Standard (2 semesters) Graduate Certificate courses.

+ AEL5 prepares you for UTS College Accelerated (1 semester) Graduate Certificate courses and most UTS Bachelor’s and Postgraduate programs.

English courses will be taught for 200 hours over 10 weeks of study. That helps you develop confidence to interact in social situations and learn the skills you need to succeed in UTS Foundation Studies and UTS College Diploma programs.

FOUNDATION STUDIES PROGRAM

At UTS College, you can choose between 2 types of programs: The standard program usually lasts 8 months with 2 semesters; The extended program lasts 12 months with 3 semesters for students who do not have a basic foundation in English proficiency and academic skills, who need to improve further to be able to transfer to UTS University or UTS College Diploma program.
