OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCY AFTER GRADUATING FROM NURSING

This highlights that despite changes in visa policies, healthcare and nursing remain in demand in Australia and are always included in the country’s Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List. Studying nursing offers significant opportunities for successful immigration and career advancement in Australia.

Under new regulations, to qualify for a skilled visa, graduates must have at least 2 years of work experience in nursing after graduation. This experience can include working in hospitals, clinics, community healthcare facilities, or other healthcare organizations. Candidates for the skilled visa should participate in internships, volunteer work, or part-time nursing jobs while studying to gain experience and prepare for their post-graduation visa application.

As Australian visa policies can change, students are encouraged to stay updated by visiting the Department of Home Affairs website or consulting reliable experts like SET Study Abroad for guidance on study and residency pathways after graduation.
