Study Pathways at the University  

Curtin University offers a variety of study pathways to suit the needs and aspirations of international students, including:  

Diploma Programs 

A diploma from Curtin College is equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s degree at Curtin University and is awarded in two stages to meet the needs of various student groups.  

The Curtin Diploma (Stage Two) covers course content and structure similar to the first year of the corresponding Curtin bachelor’s degree. After completing this diploma, you can enter the second year of the respective Curtin degree.  

This program is designed for students who do not meet the minimum entry requirements for Curtin University or have completed Year 12 but have not achieved WACE, ATAR, or equivalent qualifications.  

Undergraduate Programs  

Full-time Study  

  If you choose to study full-time, you will take 3 to 4 subjects per semester, ensuring enough credits for graduation. Most bachelor’s degrees can be completed in 3 to 4 years of full-time study.  

Part-time Study

  Part-time students can seek relevant work related to their chosen field and flexibly register to study 1 or 2 subjects/ semester. Part-time study is a great way to maintain a balance between work and life, especially when you have a busy schedule.  

Studying Online

  Some courses can be studied entirely or partially online. These interactive educational experiences allow you to earn the same qualifications as on-campus students. You still have opportunities to interact with and learn from other students during your online studies. Curtin University’s iLecture system provides access to lecture recordings, allowing you to conveniently access knowledge at any time.  

Master’s Programs 

At Curtin University, 77.5% of graduates find full-time employment within just four months of completing their postgraduate studies. Additionally, 78.5% of students are satisfied with the skills development they gained during their studies.
